Louis brought a pair of his Max Hemp speakers for the group to review. This was the first time I had ever really listened to a full range single drive speaker and I liked it. Given the dimensions of the room the speakers sounded much better off there bases (used as an amplifier stand see photo above) and titled back slightly.

 

Vinnie had three of his products available for the review. A modified Oliver Music Server, an iMod (a 5.5 generation iPod with a modified output circuit) and battery powered Signature 30 Amplifier.

 

I think everyone had a good time and learned a few things to boot.  Again a big thanks to our guests and host for another great CAS meeting.
